Net4U is about providing accurate information about a fishing location. Information
like the location of a marina or a boat ramp to launch a boat, fishing piers,
restrooms at a lake, restaurants and local bait shops. Information that is either
non-existant on a state's parks and wildlife website or very difficult to find and
understand. Most states put very little emphasis on helping their citizens utilize
their fisheries, making it that much more difficult and costly for new residents unfamiliar with
the area. Result. Fewer people getting to fully enjoy the outdoor sport of fishing.
Net4U is geared to helping those new to an area or those seeking to go fishing
in a new location versus local fishermen that have been fishing somewhere for more than a couple
of years. Local fishermen know where to go fishing, buy bait and where the boat ramps are on
their local lakes. However, what do locals do when they want to try a new fishing
location 20 to 50 miles (or further) away? They usually go to a new place based on word of mouth from a
friend or family member, and unless that person gives really good directions
just getting to a new fishing location can be difficult. Not to mention finding a
bait shop or boat ramp.
Registeration is NOT REQUIRED to find fishing locations using Net4U. We want and encourage
everyone to FREELY SEARCH for a place to fish. Registration is only required to mark
spots. Why? Net4U.com is a public internet website and as such anyone in the world could
mark spots. As a result, we don't want people in other parts of the globe putting in bogus
information (SPAM) that we constantly have to review and delete. Net4U.com is an American
website for Americans ONLY.
